The Valkenswaards Chamber Orchestra presents the atmospheric "Candlelight Concert". Classical music is interspersed with special poems and brings you to the mood of the holidays for us. You will listen to the atmospheric Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg and the beautiful Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams, among others.
The Valkenswaards Chamber Orchestra presents itself at its best in an afternoon full of musical highlights. The musical direction is in the hands of the inspiring conductor Martijn Pepels for the last time, who is bidding farewell to the orchestra with this concert after 10 years.
"Candlelight Concert" brings the most beautiful melodies and poems together and is a special experience for both the seasoned visitor and the newcomer.
Het Valkenswaards Kamerorkest presenteert deze middag het sfeervolle “Candlelight Concert”. Klassieke muziek wordt afgewisseld met bijzondere gedichten en brengt je in de stemming van de voor ons liggende feestdagen. Je luistert naar o.a. de sfeervolle Peer Gynt Suite van Edvard Grieg en het prachtige Lark Ascending van Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Het Valkenswaards Kamerorkest presenteert zich op zijn best in een middag vol muzikale hoogtepunten. De muzikale leiding ligt voor het laatst in handen van de inspirerende dirigent Martijn Pepels die met dit concert na 10 jaar afscheid neemt van het orkest.
“Candlelight Concert” brengt de mooiste melodieën en gedichten bij elkaar en is zowel voor de doorgewinterde bezoeker als de nieuwkomer een bijzondere belevenis.
