This time she presents a brand-new Christmas tour, featuring the iconic festive repertoire of Barbra Streisand filled with warmth, nostalgia, elegance and vocal power.
Barbra Streisand released her legendary A Christmas Album in 1967, which has since become one of the best-selling Christmas albums of all time. In 2001 she followed it with Christmas Memories, her second holiday album. Streisand’s unique interpretations of classics such as Silent Night, Jingle Bells, My Favorite Things and The Christmas Song are brought to life again by Fay, not as imitation but as a personal, emotional interpretation that honours Streisand’s musical brilliance while adding her own signature style.
Four-time Edison Award winner Fay Claassen possesses a voice that moves deeply, intense, versatile and full of character. Together with her outstanding band, complemented by a violinist, she transforms this Christmas show into a truly enchanting experience.

Barbra Streisand bracht in 1967 haar legendarische A Christmas Album uit, dat inmiddels een van de bestverkochte kerstalbums allertijden is. In 2001 bracht ze Christmas Memories uit, haar tweede kerstalbum. Streisands unieke vertolkingen van klassiekers als Silent Night, Jingle Bells, My Favorite Things en The Christmas Song worden door Fay opnieuw tot leven gebracht. Niet als imitatie, maar als een persoonlijke, emotionele vertolking die recht doet aan Streisands muzikaliteit én haar eigen signatuur.
