Two sets, one concert: before the intermission, Dasha Beets presents Bach… because—Bach in contemporary arrangements, with poetry (translated by Dasha) and jazz/blues improvisations full of swing. After the intermission follows Salute to Rita, an intimate tribute to the ‘First Lady of Jazz’ Rita Reys (†2013) with a personal selection from the American Songbook and excursions into bossa nova, Bacharach, the Beatles, and chanson. The album Salute to Rita was released by Dasha on May 8, 2026.

Twee sets, één concert: Dasha Beets brengt vóór de pauze Bach… because—Bach in eigentijdse arrangementen, met poëzie (door Dasha vertaald) en jazz/blues improvisaties vol swing. Na de pauze volgt Salute to Rita, een intiem eerbetoon aan ‘First Lady of Jazz’ Rita Reys (†2013) met een persoonlijke keuze uit het American Songbook en uitstapjes naar bossa nova, Bacharach, Beatles en chanson. Album Salute to Rita is op 8 mei 2026 door Dasha uitgebracht.
