You don’t immediately expect it: five young musicians immersing themselves in the most refined pop repertoire of the 1960s and then going on to fill theatres with enthusiastic audiences. After the first tour of the winner of Tribute: Battle of the Bands 2025, there was no doubt left, only one question: when are they coming back?
Not only because it was nostalgic, or because people wanted to relive their youth. But because something happened that rarely occurs in a tribute show: it felt urgent. As if this music does not only belong to the past, but also to the present.
What started as admiration grew into confirmation. These guys take it extremely seriously, the harmonies, the sound, and step by step that elusive musical essence. And because of that, the opposite of “polished” happens. You forget you are watching a tribute and find yourself right in the moment.
Generations sit side by side in the audience. Those who grew up with these songs understand why they have stood the test of time. Those discovering them for the first time wonder why they are not heard everywhere anymore.
After a start like this, you don’t stop. You push forward. This is the moment when a band earns a permanent place in the theatre. Those who were there know enough. Those who missed it get a second chance.

Je verwacht het niet meteen: vijf jonge gasten die zich vastbijten in het meest verfijnde poprepertoire uit de jaren zestig — en er vervolgens volle zalen enthousiast mee krijgen. Na de eerste tour van de winnaar van de Tribute: Battle of the Bands 2025 bleef er geen twijfel hangen maar de vraag: wanneer komen ze terug?
Niet alleen omdat het nostalgisch was. Niet alleen omdat mensen hun jeugd opnieuw wilden beleven. Maar omdat hier iets gebeurde wat zelden gebeurt bij een tribute: het voelde urgent. Alsof deze muziek niet alleen van toen is, maar van nu.
Wat begon als bewondering, sloeg om in de bevestiging daarvan! Deze jongens nemen het bloedserieus — de harmonieën, de sounds en stap voor stap richting dat ongrijpbare geluid. En precies daardoor gebeurt het tegenovergestelde van braaf!! Je vergeet dat je naar een tribute kijkt — je staat midden in het moment.
Generaties zitten naast elkaar in de zaal. Wie ermee opgroeide hoort waarom deze songs de tand des tijds hebben doorstaan. Wie ze voor het eerst ontdekt, vraagt zich vooral af waarom dit niet allang weer overal klinkt.
Na zo’n begin stop je niet. Dan druk je door. Dit is het moment waarop een band een vaste plek verdient in het theater. Wie er was, weet genoeg. Wie het miste, krijgt een tweede kans!
